Welcome to Highway AG Church, a vibrant, loving, and prayer-centered community dedicated to sharing the gospel and serving the people of Ulundurpet and its surrounding villages. Whether you are seeking a spiritual home, looking for a caring community, or wanting to experience the power of prayer, our doors and hearts are open to you.
Our journey began in 1986 as a tiny, faithful congregation of just 6 to 10 people meeting in a small penthouse, led by Pastor Selvaraj until 1996.In 1996, leadership was taken over by Pastor Walter, a young, vibrant graduate from SABC Bangalore. Driven by a powerful vision from God for a massive spiritual harvest in Ulundurpet and its surrounding villages, Pastor Walter poured his life into building this ministry. Under his dynamic leadership, the church grew rapidly. In 2002, the Lord provided a permanent home for our congregation with the purchase of land and the construction of our church building right on the National Highway (Chennai Main Road).Following the peaceful passing of Pastor Walter in 2025, his profound legacy of faith, love, and vision continues to live on..
We are building a church where anyone and everyone is welcomed and accepted. Whatever your background, wherever you are from, this is a place where you can grow in your life with God. Jesus came to rescue people, not condemn them. We are imperfect people who love God and are on a journey of faith and you are welcome to journey with us.
We are committed to growing and relating together. Through our small group network of DIVINE CARE groups there is a place where everyone can meet together to encourage and strengthen one another through prayer, fellowship and Bible study. DIVINE CARE groups are a vital part of our church life.
We are wholeheartedly devoted to Jesus Christ, His Kingdom and the local church. Jesus Christ is number one in our lives. We express this through our commitment to Him in exuberant worship and through practical ministry and service in the church and community. Everything is done to excellence because He deserves the best.
We believe in living life to the full and doing everything with enthusiasm. This is a positive, faith-filled church where we are excited about all that God is doing in our lives. Great things are happening and that is reflected in our extravagant worship and ministry.
We truly believe that our best days are yet to come and that God has got good plans for everyone regardless of past mistakes and poor choices. Therefore we Endeavour to serve with positive and cheerful attitudes that speak of our hope we have found in God.
We believe God has a large heart and passion for helping hurting people and has a large plan to rescue them. Therefore we desire to build a numerically large Church with a large vision
We are very passionate about communicating the message of Jesus in a reverent and modern way for the purpose of clearly being understood in today’s generation. This value in reflected in all aspects of our Church including our premises, preaching, teaching, worship and outreach.
We believe God is holy, all powerful and is the creator who sustains all life. Therefore we approach God with reverence, admiration and respect. This is reflected in our desire to serve with humility and obedience.
We believe Jesus gave humanity a faultless example to follow. Therefore we are building a Church which is passionate about putting into practice the values and teachings of Jesus within our daily lives.
We have a culture of honouring one another.
In all we do we seek to honour and affirm those who are faithful in working and serving well. We honour God, our leaders, and one another.
We care for one another as we journey and grow together. Pastoral care is a key part of the life of the church and we are committed to providing a place where every person is loved and cared for. We are building a church that practices hospitality. Church is the people, not a building. We are a place of fellowship where hospitality plays a key part in our ministry.
We reflect our generous God by being outrageously generous in our giving. The Bible teaches us to be generous in sowing our finance into the kingdom of God. Financial giving is part of our lifestyle and worship. This involves tithing and giving through gifts and offerings.
We have been set free to enjoy life to the full. Joy and laughter are an essential part of life and we are enjoying the journey of faith. Jesus promised to give us life to the full, and so we are building a church where fun and happiness are part of our worship.
We are engaging with the world we live in with a message of good news. Our world needs the message of Jesus and so we are engaging with our culture and building a vibrant, contemporary church for ordinary people.
We are committed to showing the love of God and reaching people with the good news. Both locally and across the world we believe in mission. Jesus had a message of hope for all people and through word and action we are spreading that good news. This is an outward focused, missional church.
We are one in Jesus Christ, united with one heart and vision. There is great power when people agree together. Unity brings blessing. Our vision is the expression of that unity and we are fully committed to serving and fulfilling the vision in our church, community and the world.

We believe that the Bible (i.e. the Old and New Testaments excluding the Apocrypha), is the inspired Word of God, the infallible, all sufficient rule for faith and practice (2 Tim. 3:15-16; 2 Peter 1:21).
We believe in the unity of the One True and Living God who is the Eternal, Self-Existent “I AM”, Who has also revealed Himself as One being co-existing in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; Mark 12:29; Matt 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14).
We believe in the Virgin Birth, Sinless Life, Miraculous Ministry, Substitutionary Atoning Death, Bodily Resurrection, Triumphant Ascension and Abiding Intercession of the Lord Jesus Christ and in His personal, visible, bodily return in power and glory as the blessed hope of all believers (Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:23; Heb. 7:26; 1 Pet. 2:22; Acts 2:22, 10:38; 2 Cor. 5:21; Heb. 9:12; Luke 24:39; 1 Cor. 15:4; Acts 1:9; Eph. 4:8-10; Rom. 8:34; Heb. 7:25; 1 Cor. 15:22-24, 51-57; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 20:1-6).
We believe in the fall of man, who was created pure and upright, but fell by voluntary transgression (Gen. 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Rom. 5:12-21).
We believe in salvation through faith in Christ, who, according to the Scriptures, died for our sins, was buried and was raised from the dead on the third day, and that through His Blood we have Redemption (Titus 2:11, 3:5-7; Rom. 10:8-15; 1 Cor. 15:3-4). This experience is also known as the new birth, and is an instantaneous and complete operation of the Holy Spirit upon initial faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 3:5-6; James 1:18; 1 Pet. 1:23; 1 John 5:1).
We believe that all who have truly repented and believed in Christ as Lord and Saviour are commanded to be baptised by immersion in water (Matt. 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Acts 2:38-39).
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as an enduement of the believer with power for service, the essential, biblical evidence of which is the speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 1:4-5, 8, 2:4, 10:44-46, 11:14-16, 19:6).
We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of Christ in the Church today (1 Cor. 12:4-11, 28; Eph. 4:7-16).
We believe in holiness of life and conduct in obedience to the command of God (1 Pet. 1:14-16; Heb. 12:14; 1 Thess. 5:23; 1 John 2:6).
We believe that deliverance from sickness, by Divine Healing is provided for in the Atonement (Isa. 53:4-5, Matt. 8:16-17, James 5:13-16).
We believe that all who have truly repented and believe in Christ as Lord and Saviour should regularly participate in Breaking of Bread (Luke 22:14-20; 1 Cor. 11:20-34).
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the everlasting conscious bliss of all who truly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and the everlasting conscious punishment of all whose names are not written in the Book of Life (Dan. 12:2-3; John 5:28-29, 1 Cor. 15:22-24; Matt. 25:46; 2 Thess. 1:9; Rev. 20:10-15).
